In terms of marketing, the most important thing you can focus your marketing strategy on is SEO. Getting your website found on Google for searches related to your products and industry.

These are the best people to target because they are actively looking to buy your products or services, they are looking for you, all you’re doing is helping them find you. And the most important piece of information you need to bear in mind is that most people rely on the results that are shown on page 1 of Google’s results.  They rarely search on page 2 or 3 unless they’re looking for something specific.If that’s not your website then you’re very unlikely to get a lot of customers from Google. If it is your website, then you’ll have a steady stream month after month.

Essentially, Google wants to give their searchers the best possible experience. Then they’ll keep using Google and they will be able to keep dominating the online world. Google wants your website to be well built and to be labeled in a way that means the search bots understand what the website is about.

From there, they want plenty of images, videos, and content. Content is king. In the content, you need the right keywords so Google understands what the content is about and how to determine who would like to find it.

Finally, it’s about presence online. How many people visit the site, how many other websites are linked to the site, and how active and popular the social media profiles are.  The basics are very simple, it’s the details that really make the difference and that’s how I can help.

There are a variety of ways I can help. It really depends on your needs. How big your market is, how competitive your competitors are.

Option 1

I can take care of everything for you. We’ll sit down and create a strategy that includes targets and deadlines. I’ll then get to work delivering the SEO for your website giving you regular updates. You’ll be kept completely in the loop but you won’t have to worry about the nuts and bolts of what’s happening.

Option 2

Just like option 1, we can sit down and create a strategy together. Agree to targets and have clear goals. But rather than delivering the SEO myself, I can use a combination of freelancers to deliver on the strategy.

In some situations, this option may actually be the more cost effective route and bring you the best ROI. I’d manage the implementation but you’d remain in control and be able to keep on delivering the SEO strategy with or without me involved.

Option 3 

If you don’t have a lot of competition, for example, you have 15-20 direct competitors in your town or city, then the most cost effective route could well be to do it all yourself.

We could create the SEO strategy together and then I would train you how to run the SEO campaign yourself. I’d be on hand to problem solve or answer any questions you have, but it means you maintain control over the marketing of your business.
